Outdoor Opera
The Vienna Staatsoper's Morebisch Theatre seats 4000 outdoors and utilizes wireless microphones for principals fed through a complex 40-channel delta-stereophony system for direct reinforcement. This year a 24 speaker LARES system was installed to deliver the feeling of spaciousness and envelopment characteristic of a good opera house.
