This is a multi-purpose hall with seating on one level. Piazza Congressi is home to the Bologna Symphony Orchestra, and hosts concerts by smaller musical ensembles as well as conferences. Two LARES mainframes are used, one for the front of the room and one for the rear to optimize the direct reverberant ratio throughout the space.
