Over many years, our ongoing research has led to the development of the optimum components and methods of implementation for successful LARES installations. These components are used to form the a world's only all digital, fully modular acoustical enhancement system with redundant processing (with distributed redundant processing, a single component failure will not cause the entire system to go down). Any LARES Signal Processor can be re-configured to take the place of any other in case of failure.. The system can be expanded or extended easily - without making existing hardware obsolete. The LARES Mainframe II replaces up to four of the previous versions, and provides improved acoustics software. The LARES 01 Power Amplifier uses over 9600 sq.in of convection cooling to keep dust and dirt away from critical circuits and components. Its design exceeds noise and distortion specifications of class A designs. The LARES 440 loudspeaker is designed for maximum power uniformity over its bandwidth, and when used in LARES systems, provides exceptionally uniform coverage throughout a venue. We have designed other components for specific applications, such as the LCF-599 which is used in venues with very high ceilings. Our LSW 210 and LSW 212 compact subwoofers deliver significant low frequency output in very small enclosures, making them easy to conceal. These products are engineered to integrate seemlessly, and together form a system that delivers unrivaled acoustical sound quality.
